Analyzing and Addressing Learning Gaps in Math

This course is specifically designed to assist teachers in making a plan for addressing learning gaps. 

The What:  In this self-paced, online learning course, you will build your expertise using a gap-mapping tool and develop strategies to address the learning gaps.  Here are a few of the learning experiences you can expect while working your way through the modules in this course:
  • Learn the common language used to describe the interactions between the gap-mapping document and how to relate it to supporting documents.
  • Read, study, and reflect on the instructional implications of the standards that are identified as potential gaps.
  • Determine how to address the standards during instruction.

The How:
This course will include reading, videos, and reflection.
