The focus is on children who use listening and spoken language, however applications are made to sign language learning when appropriate. - Compare breadth of vocabulary knowledge with depth of vocabulary knowledge
- Identify differences in breadth and depth of vocabulary knowledge for children with hearing loss as compared to children with normal hearing
- Describe four types of vocabulary depth and how children with hearing loss develop this knowledge
