Determining that a student needs the related service of counseling requires a counseling assessment to be completed and goals and objectives to be written and monitored.  This workshop will address a process for completing that assessment as well as cover the four critical components of writing measurable goals and objectives.  Behaviors associated with common issues seen in the school setting and addressed in school-based counseling will be discussed.   Techniques for monitoring student progress in meeting those goals will also be covered.
