How Tall? How Short? How Heavy?: Measuring in a Pre-K Classroom
From shapes to adding and subtracting, teaching Pre-K students basic math skills can be a wonderful challenge. In this series of workshops, we will explore formal and informal strategies for effectively teaching math to your young scholars.

What does teaching Measurement in a Pre-K classroom entail? Pre-k children need to verbally describe or show attributes of persons or objects, such as length, area, capacity, or weight.

Participants will explore hands-on strategies to teach measurement in a developmentally appropriate way, engaging and rigorous manner!

Add some fun and excitement to measuring the world around you!

Note: This training is aligned to Measurement Skills under the Math Domain of 2015 Revised Texas Pre-K Guidelines.
