Establishing Critical Math Routines K-5: Kim Sutton

Join us for one of Kim Sutton's newest workshops! This training will focus on how to take short amounts of time in the teaching day to establish routines with math activities that build strength in number sense including areas like place value, number properties, basic facts, and mental math. Participants will be actively involved in constructing and using math tools that deepen their understanding of the fundamentals of math instruction.

Kim will model how she uses every minute in the classroom to keep students actively involved in thinking and reinforcing important concepts. Her strategies are all ready to use. Participants will receive a huge manual along with a powerful toolkit of materials.

This workshop supports T-TESS Domain 2, Instruction. Participants will deepen their math content knowledge and expertise and explore ways to accurately communicate effective strategies that foster deeper learning.
