The Counselor Cooperative holds four annual network meetings for secondary counselors. The meetings will offer information and training around the four components of the Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling Program and networking opportunities with fellow counselors. 

In the morning, Austin College Access Network (ACAN) will present "The College Guide for Advising Undocumented Students". This popular session will update and inform school counselors about the counselor's role in identifying, understanding, and providing resources to undocumented students at-risk of not graduating from high school and/or seeking higher education.

In the afternoon, Gerald Pennie M.Ed., NCC, LPC will present From the Cradle to College and Career: Supporting Students from Impoverished Neighborhoods through the Educational Gauntlet". In this session multicultural competencies will be shared directly related to the use of advocacy competencies aligned with the ASCA national model that will enhance your school counseling program.
