Partners in the Education Service Center Region 13 TEXSHEP grant will be offered an opportunity for students to participate in the Pathway Project. McKinney Vento high school students chosen by the school district Homeless Liaison will participate in this project.
Students will have the opportunity to:
- Learn the roadmap to college
- Learn and practice rules of introductions, dining styles, appropriate conversation, how to write thank you note
- Learn interviewing skills
- Learn appropriate styles to dress for success
- Learn how to get along with your peers and working team
- Learn best practices regarding credit cards, bank accounts, couponing, IRS tax information
