Region 13's E-Campus

This short, online module provides an overview of three of the assessed genres students will write for STAAR (narrative, expository and persuasive).  Participants will look at model essays, and experience a student-friendly way to explain the difference between these genres.

 This Professional Development experience is considered to be a  CORE workshop.

·       Core Professional Development is considered foundational, the learning experiences are designed to be introductory in nature.

·       Core Professional Development is valuable for new teachers, teachers who are changing teaching assignments and teachers who are developing skills in a particular professional development pathway.
