Asperger 101 Online

This course is an overview of many of the issues that we see in students with Asperger Syndrome. Information related to diagnosis and the key features of Asperger Syndrome are presented including: social interaction, language, restricted interests, dealing with change, motor involvement, cognitive issues, sensory processing emotional vulnerability and the gifts of Asperger Syndrome. In addition, you will review some intervention strategies and accommodations that may be needed in schools, including tools to help organize the school day.

Asperger Syndrome 101 Online is a training module developed by the Texas Statewide Leadership for Autism Training as part of a comprehensive training series in Autism Spectrum Disorders.
