Ok, you signed up for living science materials, a van is scheduled to come by with stuff, now what? This workshop will provide teachers with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively use the ESC Region XIII Living Science Materials along with activities to integrate the materials into a TEKS based, TAKS focused curriculum. This workshop will serve as a trainer of trainers so that attendees can share the information with their campus/district.
This workshop will begin with an introduction to the resources and materials available through the ESC Region XIII Living Sciences Material Center (yearly subscription required) and how to access the materials. We will then break up into groups based on grade levels to explore how these materials can enhance your curriculum while engaging your students.
