Designed with English learners (ELs) in mind, the ELPS Toolkit illustrates concepts aligned with Sheltered Instruction such as creating language objectives, accessing prior knowledge, building vocabulary and concept knowledge, engaging students with interaction, teaching learning strategies, and assessing student progress.
