PBL for Diverse Learners: Managing PBL
Are you trying PBL for the first time?  Do you need resources to effectively manage PBL projects to support a diverse group of learners?

Project Based Learning (PBL) allows students to learn through the use of projects and problem-solving. Projects are more than just engaging lessons. They include essential elements that raise the rigor of learning in the project. These series of lessons and activities incorporate opportunities for a diverse group of learners to make choices about how they work and present their findings. These projects are designed to be aligned with multiple standards, and often across multiple content areas.

This self-paced course focuses on managing and implementing PBL projects to benefit the diverse learners in the classroom. Participants will be provided with tools, suggestions, and resources to support student inquiry and choice both in the group setting and independent activities. Throughout this course, participants will witness several examples of PBL activities conducted in the classroom. Following each example, participants will identify the strategies and processes in place to ensure that students are working productively to complete a final product and towards demonstrating content mastery.
