In this e-course, you will learn about the nature of gifted students, identification measures to find the gifted, and program options that meet their needs. You will also learn what is required by Texas law for gifted students and what best identification and program practices should be followed. The objectives will be met through Internet investigations, and investigations of district information and practices. This workshop is aligned to the Texas State Plan for the Education of the Gifted/Talented Students. This workshop meets Texas state requirements for 6-hour G/T administrator and counselor training.
