An Introduction to Social Emotional Learning
This quick, two-hour introduction will provide participants a broad overview of Social Emotional Learning. Attendees will be provided an explanation of the 5 competencies, how to assess and alter the climate and culture, and how to provide social emotional learning for students at all three tiers of behavior support. In addition, participants will learn how the members of the Region 13 ESC can help develop these aspects and discuss the next steps in implementation.
