Math STAAR Target Workshop- Algebra I

We have delved into the 2017 STAAR Math data, and identified the two lowest performing reporting categories. This series of workshops will target these reporting categories by grade level. We will explore the TEKS through interactive activities and study released test items, so you fully understand the tested content.  We will be using the vertical alignment document when analyzing STAAR items to plan for differentiation in instruction.

This workshop is a new workshop based on the newly released 2017 STAAR tests.

For Algebra I the two lowest reporting categories in May 2016 for Region 13 were RC 1, Number and Algebraic Methods, and RC 3, Writing and Solving Linear Functions, Equations, and Inequalities.
