JUST WORDS is a publication by Wilson Language Training. The kit is designed to assist students in grades 4-12 (as a Tier II intervention) and adult learners who have mild to moderate gaps in their decoding and spelling proficiency, but who do not have a significant language learning disability. The system is a supplemental word study program with an emphasis on phonemic awareness, word study, phonics, and spelling.
In this 2-day workshop, teachers will receive background knowledge and instruction on how to instruct the targeted word study focus, with subsequent support through an online resource which is available when materials are purchased from Wilson Language Training.
Instructional kits are not included within the registration fee. Training materials are provided.
