All entities operating the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program are required to match their student enrollment (PEIMS) to the Direct Certification/Verification report located on TX-UNPS. There are students within the Direct Certification (DC) database who are not linked to entities and USDA has mandated that all states match these students to an entity by all means possible. This hand's on training will assist entities in completing this process. The process itself is very simple, however obtaining the correct data and putting the information in the correct sequence is of utmost importance. An email will be sent out from the child nutrition team to all entities with detailed instructions on obtaining the correct data and what should be brought to the training.
