Spanish Phonology and Orthography

Understanding the way the Spanish language works is no easy task - even for Bilingual Education teachers! This online course was developed to help participants do just that. It's designed for bilingual teachers working with Spanish speaking ELLs and builds expertise in understanding the structure of their students’ native language. 

Participants registering for this course will receive a set of Spanish Word Study cards designed to be used in the bilingual classroom setting. They are a great way to take the content from this course and put it into action in the classroom - whether as a self-guided center or for use in small group settings.
