Math STAAR Target Workshop- Grade 3

We have delved into the 2017 STAAR Math data, and identified the two lowest performing reporting categories. This series of workshops will target these reporting categories by grade level. We will explore the TEKS through interactive activities and study released test items, so you fully understand the tested content.  We will be using the vertical alignment document when analyzing STAAR items to plan for differentiation in instruction.

This workshop is a new workshop based on the newly released 2017 STAAR tests.

In this workshop we will target student expectations that have been identified as the greatest concern, based on 2016 STAAR data. Many of these SE's are found within Reporting Category 2, Computations and Algebraic Reasoning, and Reporting Category 3, Geometry and Measurement.

Teachers will have the opportunity to analyze STAAR released items and experience supporting activities for these target areas.
