Description: In this session we will discuss the importance of dynamic assessment as an evidence-based method to use in the assessment of speakers with limited English skills. The theory behind dynamic assessment will be explained, as well as “how-tos” for developing and using dynamic assessment tasks. Finally, procedures for interpreting and reporting on dynamic assessment outcomes to others will be presented.
