CANCELED: AAC Foundations Team Training- Day 3 Complex Access Issues

This is the 3rd workshop in the "AAC Foundations Team Training" series.

This workshop is designed for professionals (especially TEAMS!) working with students with complex communication needs (CCN) who are unable to access/see, reach and touch traditional Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) systems due to physical, visual, or hearing challenges.

Participants will learn about and practice using a variety of low-tech alternate access methods including partner-assisted scanning, eye gaze/pointing, combinations of eye pointing and partner-assisted scanning, and coded access. Case studies will be reviewed providing examples of decision making around access methods that best meet student needs /characteristics.
