Can't We All Just Get Along? Tying Social Learning to Career and Academic Objectives

The Counselor Cooperative holds four annual network meetings for elementary counselors. The meetings will offer information and training around the four components of the Comprehensive Guidance and Counseling Program and networking opportunities with fellow counselors.

Social skills are an important focus of elementary school counselors.  Yet, we are also called on to focus on career learning and academics.  tying the social skills that we know elementary students need to their current academic functioning and future careers allows elementary school counselors to meet state and national objectives.   In this workshop, Dr. Greene will focus on specific social skills that support academic and career objectives.  specific activities will be provided as well as tying in lessons that school counselors already use.

This workshop is prepaid for members of the Counselor Cooperative; please remember to use your promotional code when registering.

ECU, LSW and LPC credits are available.
