Refining Your Understanding and Teaching of Phonological Awareness
Are you looking for new strategies to help all students build strong phonological awareness? This session will review a few basics of phonological awareness, but will mostly focus on new ways to enhance your phonological awareness instruction. We will specifically explore activities to teach listening, initial sound identification, and onset rime through small group instruction and transitions.
