Planning in Science: Integrating Process Skills in Content Standards for the Elementary Classroom

This module is designed as a campus professional development to be facilitated by a campus leader.  This presentation will lead teachers to develop an understanding of the importance of creating lesson plans which focus on integrating the Scientific Investigation and Reasoning Skills into daily instruction, leading to more explicit teaching of these skills.


During this module, teachers will participate in facilitated discussions, collaborate with their colleagues to develop a better understanding of the process skills, work through templates designed to guide the method of integrating process and content standards and be able to use this structure in their planning throughout the year.
