Using TEKS Resource System to Identify and Address Learning Gaps
About the Course
This course is specifically designed for TEKS Resource System clients. We do have another course that is designed for non TEKS RS clients. The What: In this self-paced, online learning course, you will build your expertise with the use of the Instructional Considerations to Activate Purposeful PLanning (ICAPP) developed by the Region 13 TEKS Resource System team to identify and address learning gaps. Here are a few of the learning experiences you can expect while working your way through the modules in this course:- read to understand the intention of the framework of the ICAPP tool
- learn the common language used to describe the interactions between the ICAPP tool and how to relate it to supporting documents
- read, study, and reflect on the instructional implications of the standards that are identified as potential gaps
- determine how to address the gap standards during instruction
The How:
This course will include reading, videos, and reflection.
The course will be open until August 31, 2022. You can come back and revisit any section of the course that you feel will benefit you until that date.
