Step Out of the Storm: Understanding Crisis
The more we understand, the more we can support our students!
Crisis happens, right? Despite our best intentions, there are times when emotions rise and tempers flare in our classrooms. When that happens, how you, the adult responds, can determine how the situation is resolved. In this course, you will learn about how a crisis evolves and how to help a student de-escalate safely. This course does not replace your district's crisis response training. (i.e CPI, SAMA, MANDT)
